Acupuncture Without Borders

Objective: Contribute to the development of disadvantaged peoples in the field of healthcare, by bringing them training and practice in acupuncture.

Participants: Local practitioners, doctors, nurses and midwifes, who receive theoretical and practical grounding in acupuncture.

Why Acupuncture? It has both preventative and curative effects. In addition it allows significant savings in medicines, which are often expensive and difficult to obtain.

Training is done by: Experienced acupuncturists who take part in 250 hours of training from AWB around the world.

What we are asking for? We are asking for you to help by supporting Brian Mears Lac in his training mission to Shanghai China with AWB. He will then help lead a humanitarian training mission to rural Peru in 2010.
